About us

”I offer you peace. I offer you love. I offer you friendship. I see your beauty. I hear your need. I feel your feelings. My wisdom flows from the Highest Source. I salute that Source in you. Let us work together for unity and love.” ~ Gandhi

Yoga Bliss was founded in April 2016 on the small island of Nusa Lembongan with the idea of bringing Yoga to everyone. The studio, restaurant and accommodation are all owned by a local family who are devoted to the island community.

It is the only locally owned yoga studio on the island and we believe that land is sacred for the people who are attached to it. We want to support the local community and help them to keep ownership and get the most out of their island.  This is especially important in destinations such as Bali and Nusa Lembongan which are very popular for tourism and foreign investors.

Yoga Bliss was born from the collaboration of yoga teachers and locals who wished to create a space where people could develop their yoga practice, spirituality and reconnect with themselves. A place where everybody is welcome.

We offer daily drop-in classes, yoga retreat, workshops and teacher trainings.

The studio is surrounded by plants and trees such as banana, papaya and mangoes amongst others. These delicious fruits are served in our two restaurants (Green Garden and Ahimsa) to reduce any transport pollution and pesticide that might be added by producers. The fresh food served in the restaurants is seasonal and sourced locally.

We reinvest 6% of Yoga Bliss income into various projects supporting the local community and protecting the natural environment of Nusa Lembongan. Whether training members of the community as Yoga Teachers or supporting waste management on the island or marine wildlife research, we feel we should give back to this magical place and the wonderful people and animals who live here.

You can learn more about our community projects in the community projects section (soon).

Yoga Bliss is located on Lembongan island, 30 minutes away from Bali by boat. This island paradise begins to be a must to visit from Bali away from the traffic jam or the hawkers. A perfect place to relax, where the only things to do are diving, snorkelling, surfing, sunbathing and of course yoga.

Our shala is in the heart of Lembongan close to all commodities and only 5 min walk from the beach.
